How are the baked items shipped?
All of our cookies are baked to order and shipped within hours of being baked. We primarily ship with U.S. Priority Mail and our packages usually arrive within two to three days after shipping. We also use other carriers (FedEx and UPS) as we determine which ground service best serves the destination.
How much time does One Smart Cookie need to process an order?
We bake Monday through Thursday. Please allow extra time if placing large orders.
Are you licensed?
Yes, One Smart Cookie is licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services as a Food Manufacturer. We are also inspected by the City of Abilene, Texas Environmental Health Department
What makes your cookies so special?
Our cookies are soft and chewy and measure 3 to 3 1/2 inches. We use only the finest ingredients (no preservatives or additives) and take pride in our homemade taste. In addition, all recipes have been through a rigorous 'taste test' from dessert connoisseurs of all ages. Every batch is made from scratch, hand-packed and packaged to meet your special request.
How long will the cookies retain their freshness?
If they are stored in their original bag or an airtight container, they should maintain their freshness for 5 to 6 days at room temperature. They freeze well and will last up to 3 months in the freezer if placed in an airtight container.
